Director’s Message

Today's social dynamics not only brings a new perspective to the division of labor and specialization of individuals, but also redefines these roles and responsibilities within the framework of sociological norms and principles. The most important expansion in this step is shaped by the concepts of women's identity and family. The roles, references, and representations of women, created by cultural and sociological norms within the social structure, have left their mark on the last century as an interdisciplinary concept and the area of ​​interest of science and academia.​

As Iğdır University Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center, we aim to both contribute to the field by conducting academic research and make social contributions with a social responsibility mission. In this context, our goal is to raise awareness with the projects we will carry out and to contribute to the field with scientific studies by realizing the deficiencies in the social structure.
